Capitol Christmas Tree Lighting

Congresswoman Kathy Manning joined Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Representative David Price, North Carolina First Lady Kristin Cooper, and North Carolina Governor Cooper for the Capitol tree lighting ceremony. This year's tree, 'Ruby,' is from North Carolina.

North Carolina State Veterans Home - Kernersville 
Local veterans requested an update on the long-awaited North Carolina State Veterans Home -Kernersville.

Congresswoman Manning visited the site to see firsthand the progress on this new facility for local veterans.

Winston-Salem Police Department Real Time Crime Center

Through Congressional Community Funding Projects, Congresswoman Manning secured federal funding for the Winston-Salem Police Department to implement upgraded technologies at their new Real Time Crime Center. This month, Congresswoman Manning joined the Winston-Salem Police Department for the Center's ribbon cutting where she received an award for her work to secure funding for the department.

Pleasant Garden Veterans Awards
In celebration of Veterans Day, Congresswoman Manning presented local veterans from Pleasant Garden with special Congressional recognitions.

Congresswoman Manning is proud to honor the service and sacrifice of the veterans from North Carolina's Sixth District.

High Point Child Care Center Visit with Governor Cooper
Congresswoman Manning voted to pass the American Rescue Plan, delivering critical funding to child care centers across North Carolina so centers could keep their employees on payroll, parents could get to work, and children could learn. 
Alongside Governor Cooper, Congresswoman Manning visited Kid Appeal, a child care center that benefitted from American Rescue Plan funding in High Point, North Carolina.

Gibsonville Town Hall Dedication to Honor Mayor Williams 
The Town of Gibsonville dedicated their Town Hall to Mayor Leonard Williams. 
Congresswoman Manning participated in the dedication ceremony, recognizing Mayor Williams' contributions to Gibsonville and highlighting their partnership to improve the town's infrastructure and support their constituents.

Grand Opening of Ascendency at the Reidsville Lucky Strike Facility 

Congresswoman Manning joined Reidsville leaders to welcome Ascendancy to the Triad. Ascendancy is reinventing
 the Lucky Strike Facility in Reidsville, creating new jobs, bringing new employers to the region, and strengthening the Sixth District's workforce.

Triad Volunteer Center Breakfast
The Triad Volunteer Center hosted their first 'Corporate Cares Challenge Breakfast.' 
Congresswoman Manning attended the Center's Breakfast to recognize Triad businesses that are committed to supporting the Sixth District's community members.

Winston-Salem I-74 Highway Ribbon Cutting

Congresswoman Manning joined local officials from Winston-Salem at the opening of the eastern section of the I-74 Winston-Salem Northern Beltway to celebrate this infrastructure milestone for the Triad.

Grand Opening of ICON with UNC Greensboro and North Carolina A&T State University
Congresswoman Manning attended the grand opening of ICON, the Innovative Collaborative Laboratory for Nanotechnologies to Empower the Future Soldier. ICON is a collaborative laboratory formed in partnership with the Joint School of Nanoscience and Nanoengineering and the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Soldier Center. ICON's mission is to develop new technologies that will protect United States servicemembers. 

Celebrating One Year Anniversary of the 
Bipartisan Infrastructure Law

November 17th, 2022 marked the one year anniversary of the signing of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, a once-in-a-generation historic investment to rebuild and modernize America’s infrastructure.

The Law already delivered millions in federal funding to North Carolina and is estimated to deliver more than $10.4 billion in long-term funding. 

Congresswoman Manning continues to work with local elected officials from across the Triad to ensure that North Carolina's Sixth District gets its share of federal funding.

Manning Leads Bipartisan Call to Hold Iran Accountable

Congresswoman Manning, Vice Chair of the Middle East, North Africa and Global Counterterrorism Subcommittee of the Foreign Affairs Committee, led a bipartisan group of Members of Congress in calling for the United Nations to hold Iran accountable for their human rights abuses in the wake of the tragic death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini.

Supporting Survivors in the Workplace

Congresswoman Manning voted to pass the Speak Out Act, bipartisan legislation that allows survivors of sexual misconduct in the workplace to speak out against their abusers by prohibiting the judicial enforceability of pre-dispute NDA's, commonly known as 'gag orders.'
