Friend,
I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving! I wanted to make sure you got my invite below. Can you join us on Dec 14th for a vigil to mark the 10th anniversary of the Sandy Hook shooting? This gathering is more important as these tragedies keep happening – the four Overbrook High School students, UVA, Colorado Springs, and Chesapeake just recently – and many of us feel more and more lost amid the grief. Join us as we remember, reflect, heal, and advocate together.
Thanks, Roz Pichardo

A decade ago, the country learned in horror that 20 children and 6 educators were massacred at Sandy Hook Elementary School. Since that day, we’ve lost so many more to gun violence: 15,000 Pennsylvanians.
Their memories are what remain as family and friends prepare to gather around holiday tables with too many empty chairs. But we will not rest until we honor them by preventing the next empty chair – the next victim of the gun violence epidemic.
Join us at Broad Street Ministry on Wednesday, December 14th from 5:30 - 6:30 PM for a vigil to remember those lost and demand our leaders #EndGunViolence. RSVP today.

Since that horrific day, our movement has seen major gun safety victories in PA, like: disarming domestic abusers, investing in safer communities, and expanding background checks. But we’ve also watched the violence get worse as leaders take too long to support life-saving policies.
Each day that passes means another empty chair. Join us as we remember those we’ve lost and honor them by demanding action. Sincerely, Roz Pichardo CeaseFirePA – Invest in Safer Communities Coordinator
