I wanted to reach out today to say that while I’ve appreciated all the support we’ve been getting from around Alaska and around the country, I have to say one note, in particular, has been my favorite so far.

We received this inspiring drawing that came in over the holiday from 3 year old Wrenley.

Children like Wrenley are why I’m running for Congress, and why I’ve been dedicated to lifting up the public school system here in Alaska.

Every person in Alaska, regardless of zip code, deserves a first-rate education that helps them realize their potential. I cannot sit on the sidelines and watch the partisan bickering in Washington get in the way of what kids need. I will bring a cradle to career education perspective that will make Alaska and our country much stronger.
