Join us to hear from Zach Huntington, Associate Director of Clean Virginia Waterways. He is an experienced environmental researcher and analyst with background in communicating the impact of plastic pollution on people and the planet. ?
A recent survey was conducted that showed that Virginia voters are concerned about plastic getting into our rivers, bays and oceans, and support actions to decrease littered plastic bags, bottles, cups , food wrappers etc.
Zach will share the results of a statewide survey on citizens perception of plastic pollution. This survey explored voters perceptions and attitudes about several problems and measured their support for policies that have been adopted by other states.
Action: As always, bring your questions and concerns, and learn what we can do to stem the tide of plastic pollution.
