John, we’re coming off major victories across Virginia, but we’re not done yet. My team is gearing up for our election next year, but we can’t forget that there is still one U.S. Senate seat up for grabs in Georgia.
Right now, the margin of our Democratic Senate majority hangs in the balance, with Georgia Senator Raphael Warnock headed to a runoff election against Republican Herschel Walker. Sen. Warnock is a true champion for not just Georgians, but all Americans, and we must help him fight to keep hold of his seat.
Through his leadership in the Senate, he has come to define our Democratic progress, all while keeping the needs of Georgians at the forefront. From expanding access to healthcare, to helping drive the largest investment in our nation’s infrastructure in decades, to creating an economy that works for all, Sen. Warnock has proven to be the fighter we need in the Senate.
Just like we need to expand our Senate majority here in Richmond, we need to expand our U.S. Senate majority in Washington. Holding onto Sen. Herschel Walker is a dangerous individual with some truly wild and hypocritical beliefs. He is staunchly opposed to abortion, except to cover up his own misdeeds. And, he is on the record saying diabetics should “just eat right” and there is no need to cap the astronomical cost of insulin.
We need to do everything in our power to keep this Texas resident out of Georgia’s junior U.S. Senate seat. Next week’s runoff has an outsize impact on our nation’s future and we must do our part to make sure it goes the right way.
The best way to make sure that happens is to help Team Warnock replenish their campaign funds. I know more than most how expensive it is to run for office, and Sen.
