While we may have fallen short in defending our Democratic House majority, there's one thing I am certain of:

It's thanks to grassroots movements like ours that voters rejected partisan extremism, defended Dr. Kim Schrier's seat, and flipped Washington's 3rd District BLUE when Marie Gluesenkamp Perez defeated her opponent.

And, while it's understandable to feel disappointed at the outcome of some of our House races, I remain hopeful about the future of our democracy. I am ready to get back to work and continue fighting for you on Capitol Hill.
