Friend, did you see Ro’s message on bringing jobs back to
America?
Ro is leading the fight to make more things in America in an effort to
rebuild our working class, give families an opportunity to build wealth,
and solve supply chain issues that strain our small businesses the most.
But we can’t do it without your help. We need to show that millions of
Americans stand with Ro. Every donation matters, no matter how
small. [ [link removed] ]Can you chip in any amount today to let Ro know that you stand

Friend,
Decades ago, the United States was a global leader in manufacturing. We
supplied the world with steel, cars, computers, and so much more,
advancing us in immeasurable ways. Manufacturing provided millions of jobs
with good pay, benefits, and union representation. But since the late
1970s, over 40 percent of these jobs have been shipped overseas in search
of cheaper labor, leaving blue-collar communities in the lurch.
For America to prosper, we need to look close to home. That means bringing
unionized, well-paying manufacturing jobs back to the United States, to
communities ravaged by globalization. We’re already making progress by
creating millions of jobs through the CHIPS Act and the Inflation
Reduction Act. But we can go further, addressing inflation and the ongoing
supply chain crisis by making things here at home. That includes
incentivizing factory construction, investing in training opportunities
and manufacturing process innovations, and pushing the federal government
to use tax revenues to purchase items made in America, not China or
elsewhere.
The loss of jobs in what was once a major industry has only fueled the
growing divide between working-class Americans and the ultra-wealthy. If
we hope to address income inequality and strengthen our economy, we need
to rebuild the middle class and continue to pursue opportunities to create
manufacturing jobs. We need to work towards creating a trade surplus for
the first time since 1975. We need to embrace emerging political leaders
who can connect with working-class voters, who listen and understand their
experiences, and who have solutions for a better future. We need to
embrace a new economic patriotism: making things in America again to build
prosperity and wealth.
In solidarity,
Ro
