Thank you to all who took part in #GivingTuesday, yesterday's global day of giving. With support from wonderful friends like Nate Berkus, Kumail Nanjiani, Jeremiah Brent, Avi Roque, and YOU, we moved ever closer to creating an equitable and inclusive world where every LGBTQ+ person is safe, celebrated, empowered, and loved.

More on what we're fighting for; where, when, and how we're fighting for it; and with whom we're partnering to achieve justice and equality for our LGBTQ+ loved ones

Call your Representative in support of the Respect for Marriage Act!   Yesterday in the U.S. Senate, the Respect for Marriage Act passed with strong bipartisan support: 61 to 36, with Senate Democrats and 12 Republicans voting in favor. Now, the amended bill goes back to the House where it is expected to pass and then go to President Biden who will sign it into law. Protecting same-sex and interracial marriage is a critical step forward in the ongoing fight for equity and justice, and YOU can make a difference. Contact your Representative NOW and urge them to vote YES to affirm love and families.

World AIDS Day

Each year on December 1st, we commemorate World AIDS Day. This important awareness day remains a time to reflect on our worldwide response to HIV/AIDS while honoring the lives of those lost to AIDS-related illnesses. On this day, we also renew our commitment to supporting the wellbeing of those with HIV, as well as those at risk for infection.

This year’s theme for World AIDS Day is “Putting Ourselves to the Test: Achieving Equity to End HIV.” It encourages people to unite globally to eliminate the disparities and inequities that create barriers to HIV testing, prevention, and access to HIV care.

We share the same goal as millions around the world—to end the HIV epidemic by 2030. It will take a global effort, and we remain committed in our work to get it done. This World AIDS Day, take a moment to read the National HIV/AIDS Strategy (NHAS) and Federal Implementation Plan for information on how we can work together to better coordinate our response to the HIV epidemic:
