| John, Public transit had a good day at the polls this past Election Day. Nationwide, voters came out to support local transportation and public transit initiatives, approving 14 out of 19 pro-transit ballot measures. Together with similar wins at the ballot earlier this year, that gives public transportation a roughly 80% win rate in 2022. | Election Day underscored the importance of getting out the public transit vote in order to ensure federal investments made by last year's infrastructure law are matched at the state and local level. From California to Texas to Michigan to Massachusetts, voters across the country helped send a clear signal that Americans support public transit and are willing to put their money where their mouth is to maximize the benefits it brings to their communities. Thank you so much to everyone who took to the polls to support public transit in this year's elections. Your support and participation is critical to keeping investments in public transit moving forward. Read more in our latest blog post, The Votes Are In: Public Transit is a Winning Election Issue.
