As household bills, the price of food and fuel continues to increase, I?m aware many people will be worried about money. The cost of living has left many people feeling overwhelmed and if you are feeling anxious about this, you are not alone.
There are some simple steps you can take which may help you, like creating a budget plan of all your income and outgoings to help control your household spending. Sometimes saving money can seem really daunting, especially if you are on a low income. But even putting ?5 or ?10 aside every time you get paid or receive benefits can make a big difference. It could help tide you over if your regular income gets delayed or stopped, meaning you might not have to borrow money.
You can do this on paper or using an online budgeting tool that will do the adding up for you. Free budgeting tools can be found at www.asklion.co.uk/budgeting.
