Yesterday I shared that we’ve set a goal to reach $50,000 by the end of
tonight — an ambitious but critical target. I just met with the rest of my
team and they briefed me on our progress to our fundraising goal for this
month.

I’m getting concerned,
John. With less than 12 hours
until our end-of-month deadline, we’re just only half of the way to our
goal.

In a normal year, I might be able to accept this dramatic decline in
fundraising as a reality of the aftermath of the midterm elections. But
this isn’t a normal year.

We’re preparing for a Republican-controlled House and the stakes are high.
The GOP will almost certainly try to roll back all of our progress and
continue to strip Americans of our civil and human rights.

Our critical work fighting for the people in Congress will leave little
time for fundraising, which is why it’s crucial we reach all of our goals
now. $50,000 will make a huge difference for us down the line, and I’m
counting on your support.
