Every single member of our delegation to Congress won re-election. And here in Connecticut, we expanded our majorities in both chambers of the General Assembly — flipping FIVE CT House seats!

One of our most hard-fought races was in the Fifth District, where Jahana Hayes won re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives against her challenger by fewer than 2,000 votes . National Republicans poured millions of dollars into their campaign to defeat Jahana, but the will of the people won out over all those dark-money donors.

Even more astounding was Chris Poulos’s victory in Southington, where he managed to flip a Connecticut House seat from red to blue by just one vote!

Such tight races prove how important it is for us to use every minute we have to gain the upper hand and prepare for the next election.
