** Vaccine Failure—The Glaring Problem Officials Are Ignoring, Part I: Measles Vaccination

The coordinated and stepped-up effort to eliminate vaccine exemptions and impose new vaccine mandates was, without a doubt, one of 2019’s top stories, both nationally and internationally. One of the primary weapons in the anti-vaccine-choice arsenal was measles hysteria—whipped up by a biased media willing to use false talking points to demonize the unvaccinated while ignoring or glossing over measles vaccination’s flawed track record.
As we brace for more measles hype in 2020, Children’s Health Defense believes it is important to keep calling attention to the real facts about the failures of mass measles vaccination.
Failure #1: Primary and secondary measles vaccine failures are common.
Failure #2: Measles-vaccinated mothers are not passing on adequate immunity to their infants—thus, the most vulnerable age group is getting measles.
Failure #3: Vaccinated individuals are getting measles—probably more often than official counts show.
Failure #4: Vaccinated individuals are getting measles from the vaccine and transmitting the vaccine strain to others.
Failure #5: Vaccination failures aren’t limited to measles-containing vaccines—failure is inherent to all vaccines.

** Join RFK, Jr. in Albany, Jan. 8th!

Thousands of angry New Yorkers and RFK, Jr., will gather at the Capitol in Albany on Wed., Jan. 8. This is the first day of the legislative session, and the same day as Governor Cuomo’s State of the State Address. Parents and advocates are protesting a slate of Democratic bills that would add up to twenty new doses of vaccines to attend school (including Merck's globally controversial HPV vaccine), and eliminate the right of parents to know which vaccines their children are given.
Protests will begin at 9 am at Merck's Albany HQ at the Bullmoose club at 150 State Street. A press conference will be held at 11 am on the Million Dollar Staircase with Mr. Kennedy, and there will be a protest at the Governor's State of the State at the Empire State Convention Center at 1:30.

** RFK, Jr. Gives Electrifying Speech in Trenton, NJ Yesterday

Thousands of medical freedom advocates gathered yesterday in NJ to fight the draconian bill to repeal the state’s longstanding religious exemptions to vaccination. Still, the latest word on the street is that State Senator and Senate President Sweeney is NOT backing down and is still spouting pharma-provided talking points. He vowed in December to bring the bill back up for a vote so we should all take him at his word.
It’s not over until it’s over! Don’t take your rights for granted. Spread the word! It is more important than ever to show up and call your legislators. Parents will “Occupy Trenton” until January 14th. The next two big rally days are January 9th and January 13th.

** A Tribute to Don Imus
1940-2019

Children’s Health Defense joins parents of vaccine-injured children and advocates for health freedom in remembering the life of Don Imus, a media maverick in taking on uncomfortable topics that most in the mainstream press avoid or shut down altogether.
He was a committed soldier to the cause, remaining an integral part of the autism advocacy community for many years, raising the questions that our federal officials should be asking. Don kept the autism issue in the hearts and minds of the millions who listened to his show. He and Deirdre continued their steadfast questioning of environmental insults that affect children’s health until his death.
While all of us with Children’s Health Defense mourn the loss of a true icon in our community, we remain forever grateful for having had the friendship and support of Don Imus.
