In the past few days -- in the wake of the killing of Iranian General Soleimani -- Donald Trump has proven beyond dispute that he is dangerously incompetent and incapable of world leadership.

We have zero evidence to suggest that Trump thought seriously about the calculus of this reckless decision. President Trump has no strategy here. No endgame.

Now, we could be on the brink of war, and Trump’s impulsive decision may well do more to strengthen Iran’s position in the region than any of Soleimani’s plots could have ever accomplished.

These are the stakes of this election. We can either replace Donald Trump with steady and stable leadership, or we can allow his impulsive and reckless behavior to continue to reduce our standing on the global stage and put our troops in grave danger.
