New, permanent congressional lines are about to be drawn in North Carolina!
And THIS time, corrupt leftist judges will not unconstitutionally undo the legislature's maps. and THAT means, the First District is about to look at lot friendlier!

Even with a district illegally drawn by judicial fiat, I STILL almost won it in 2022- moving it a bunch to the right!
With all this new support under my belt, it's made Democrat Don Davis nervous.
How nervous? Now he's not even sure he will run again!!!
North Carolina's WRAL reports:
A court-enacted map made the district slightly less Democratic, but still likely to elect a Democratic candidate.
In 2020, Butterfield defeated Smith by more than 8 percentage points. This year, Davis beat Smith by 4.7 percentage points. A redrawn map could bring in more conservative voters and move the district into a toss-up status.
The day after her loss, Smith wrote on Twitter: “Congrats to Don Davis. My advice to him is not to get too comfortable.”
Davis said he hasn’t given serious thought about what maps may look like in 2024, and he declined to say whether he’d run for reelection.”
With fair lines, I win this seat. And "One Term Don" knows it.
