It's no secret that the Left wants to silence conservative Christians in the public square--censoring dissenting voices and quelling differing opinions.
Last year, it was the silencing of parents who voiced their concerns at school board meetings to push back on leftist indoctrination in public schools. The National School Boards Association and the Department of Justice decided to investigate these parents as "domestic terrorists."
How can the Left continue to radicalize education if engaged parents are rising up? Apparently, the answer is to abuse government power, ignore the U.S. Constitution, and investigate moms and dads.
Now, the lame-duck Congress and the Biden administration are pushing the so-called Respect for Marriage Act that will supercharge attacks on people and organizations that still believe in natural marriage. Today, one of the Left's favorite tactics to undermine free speech is to use their new buzzword: "Christian Nationalism."
Those who throw that label around rarely attempt to define it. Instead, they rely upon its vague meaning to stretch the term to intimidate believers like you and me from bringing faith into the public square and speaking truth.
The problem is: it's not "Christian Nationalism" to promote and desire public policies that align with biblical principles.
Since we live in a constitutional republic, we have a right and responsibility to ensure our ideas are represented in the public square.
Those like the left-wing Southern Poverty Law Center who use fear-mongering to label FRC as a "hate group" or The Washington Post claiming we are Christian Nationalists know these accusations are false. But they want to silence us because they fear the truth.
The Left understands that when Americans are presented the truth about abortion, marriage, religious freedom, and free speech, they will reject their radical agenda--including the outrageous bills Congress is trying to push through in this lame-duck session.
