To say these past few weeks have been busy would be a heck of an understatement! From getting out the vote ahead of the midterms to finalizing our bill to protect marriage equality, this has been a jam-packed month.

With so much going on, fundraising has taken a back seat — and according to my team, we’re not on track to hit our November end-of-month target before the deadline expires tomorrow.

Now, we’re not sharing this with you to scare you into donating or pretend like missing a deadline is the end of the world — that’s not how we do things. But I will tell you that the money we raise from emails like this one helps us reach voters where they are across the state and build a strong foundation for the road ahead.

It’s no secret that the next election will be a challenging one for Senate Democrats — 23 of my colleagues are up for reelection. That’s why it’s so important that we lay the groundwork to protect our majority right now.
