Dear advocate,
2022 was a monumental year for OCA. We held our first in-person convention since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, expanded our OCA National team, elected new members to the Executive Council, and welcomed a cohort of new fall, summer, and spring interns that helped progress our programs and policy work.
So, as the year ends, I want to personally tell you how much we appreciate you and thousands of members for showing up alongside OCA. Our work would not be possible without your support.
I’m also writing to you because your generosity is critical for our future.
If you haven’t already, I ask that you consider giving a year-end gift before midnight tonight. Your tax-deductible donation will directly support our internship programs and policy advocacy.

Help us reach our $150,000 goal so that we can open more positions in our OCA National Summer Internship Program, which was reduced from 20 to 12 due to the program stipend increase in order to pay interns a more reasonable DC wage. The program acceptance rate is 5% due to the high volume of applicants and limited spots - we hope you can empower us to increase opportunities for this life-changing program.
