In the wake of the chaos at Twitter and the increase in hate speech on that platform, LDAD is also posting commentary on LinkedIn as a place for more nuanced and civil discussion. Please follow us there and see yesterday’s post about the former president’s disasterous dinner with Ye and Nick Fuentes – the former a recently disgraced antisemite who has now lost millions in endorsement contracts, and the latter a white supremacist and Holocaust denier.

Every political leader should have swiftly condemned this normalization of those who spew bigotry. In April, LDAD issued a Call-to-Action, urging people to speak up in the face of hate. That call was made in support of Michigan State Senator Mallory McMorrow’s refusal to stay silent in the face of attacks against her. As she stated then – and it remains true today – we cannot let hate win.
