We know -- we just got through Election Day, but while our next electoral battles might seem a ways off, we need to start getting ready for them now.

Here’s why:

1. Sherrod is the last remaining statewide-elected Democrat in Ohio. The GOP is determined to make him the last.


2. Ohio was one of the most expensive battlegrounds in the country this year with over $200 million spent. We can only imagine how much dark money will pour into our state next time around.


3. We’re facing even stiffer headwinds -- POLITICO says Senate Democrats like Sherrod “face [a] brutal 2024 map.”


4. There’s already a wealthy opponent considering a campaign against Sherrod in 2024.

Any amount you can chip in before tomorrow’s deadline would help us hit the ground running for 2024.
