Dear Friends of the Wilson Center:
Since the Wilson Center was established by Congressional charter more than a half century ago, we have been a fiercely nonpartisan institution, dedicated to actionable ideas and open dialogue.
Throughout my tenure, I have witnessed the historical impact our scholarship has made, and the past year has been no different. We have confronted some of the most pressing and complex foreign policy challenges facing America and the world.
For example, we continued to shine a light on complex issues such as the ripple effects of the displacement crises in Ukraine, Afghanistan, and Venezuela, as well as gender-based violence across the world. Looking ahead, we will also enhance our focus on other crosscutting issues, from global trade and economic competition, to securing supply chains.
