"I'm writing you today as a constituent concerned that the purely partisan articles of impeachment from the Democrat-controlled Congress undermine President Trump and the United States at a critically important time.
I'm asking you to bring the impeachment hoax to a swift conclusion and allow President Trump to continue dealing with our nation's complex trade and foreign policy issues unencumbered by partisan gamesmanship. The specter of potential removal undermines President Trump's negotiating position on trade, dealings with Iran and North Korea, and a host of other issues. So irresponsible is this Impeachment effort, that even some Democrats joined Republicans in opposing it in the House.
It is time for the Senate to put an end to these destructive political games. We the American people want to see our elected officials work to better this nation and improve the lives of her citizens. Democrats who want to remove President Trump from office will get their opportunity in November of this year in the presidential election - until then we demand you do your job and govern.
Should the Senate decide to move forward with a trial it is essential that the full picture of what happened in Ukraine is investigated. That includes any financial interest you, your immediate family, and your senior staff have in Ukraine. If you are entangled with Ukraine, you must recuse yourself from participating.
Whether the Senate dismisses the articles of impeachment or holds a trial, it is essential that this doesn't drag on. Please dismiss this issue quickly and decisively so that the Administration can focus 100% on helping to serve the citizens of this great nation."
