Dear friends,

Throughout this year, Community Labor United has worked to bring together unions and community organizations throughout the state to build power and strengthen the voices of everyday people, working families, and communities of color.

This work is more important now than ever in shaping the economy, government, and public goods in the local communities we and our partners serve. This #GivingTuesday, I ask you to please support our work to unite organizations and communities around a shared vision and plan of action.

This year, we saw a significant investments through the American Rescue Plan Act funding toward our Pilot child care program to support working-class parents on career paths into the unionized construction industry, assisted in organizing a successful campaign to pass the Fair Share Amendment, and fought and won a three-year energy efficiency plan established by the Department of Public Utilities.

While we have achieved so much this year, our fight continues. Help us continue this vital work to build an inclusive democracy, a people’s economy, and prioritize the needs of working families.
