Dear friend,

My son Christopher and I didn't have holidays together for 22 years, since 2000, when he went to prison. All those years, Chris would call on Thanksgiving while everybody was here and we would pass the phone around and we would all get a chance to say hello. But he wasn't here at the table with us.

This year, because he's free now, we were all together for the first time in 22 years. Our Thanksgiving meal meant freedom and family to me. I had to make two turkeys and two peach cobblers (large ones!) to feed everyone coming to celebrate with us! There were almost 50 people, with all the grandchildren and great grandchildren. This year, they all got to celebrate Thanksgiving together and be a family.

I'm so grateful that all my children are together this holiday. I want more mothers to be able to have the moment I had this Thanksgiving. I want more children to have their fathers home.

A gift to FAMM will help make that possible, as they fight for reform like passage of the EQUAL Act, which would abolish the disparity between crack and powder cocaine sentences. Will you give a gift to FAMM for Giving Tuesday to help reunite more families like ours? [link removed] [[link removed]]

Thank you,

Yvonne Mosley
