Earlier this month, I was proud to represent Washington state at a historic U.N. Climate Change Conference. I left with hope, but also determination that we must do more to stop our world from careening down a deadly warming path.
So when the legislature convenes at the start of the year, Democrats have a mandate to lead with the urgency that this moment demands. We'll continue fighting to pass bold legislation to combat the climate crisis, and I'll be pushing for us to enshrine the right to choose into the state constitution.
