John, we’ve seen the world extremist idealogues want: One where politicians can override a doctor’s decisions when pregnant people’s lives are at risk… Where a miscarriage can be a crime… Where transgender children are denied health care… Where LGBTQ+ teachers are forced to hide their identities in the classroom… And where racial discrimination is perfectly legal.

But we also know what it takes to fight back—to build a safe, just, and equitable future for all. Since 1972, the National Women’s Law Center has been on the leading edge of every major legal or policy victory for women. This year we are litigating our own cases in court representing student survivors, fighting for equal pay, advocating for fertility coverage for LGBTQ+ patients, and for workers to be free from sexual harassment. And this year alone, we filed amicus briefs in major court cases that will determine the future of LGBTQ+ rights, affirmative action, equal pay, workers’ rights to be free from sex harassment and to have fair schedules, and students’ rights under Title IX.
