You also ensured we lost fewer seats in the House than in any Democratic president’s first midterm in the last 40 years. This is your victory.
But now, Donald Trump is officially running for president again -- and Trumpism is on the ballot in Georgia’s runoff election next week. It’s clear that our work isn’t over. Indeed, it is only just beginning.

Donald Trump told us women should be punished for having an abortion. He installed a right-wing Supreme Court majority that paved the way for extreme abortion bans across the country. He provided tax giveaways to the wealthiest Americans and corporations while sabotaging American health care, had the worst jobs record since the Great Depression, and incited a violent mob to attack the Capitol to try to overturn an election he knew he lost.
When voters went to the polls earlier this month, they knew what they stood for, so they knew what to fight for. And it was not Trump’s agenda.
