Hi John,
It’s Giving Tuesday, and we know you’ll get a lot of emails today, but please hear us out. We’re determined to rein in the monopoly abuses of Big Tech—and these next few weeks are really do-or-die for these efforts. The “lame duck” Congress is probably the last chance to pass TWO good antitrust bills (AICOA and OAMA) that would crack down on egregious self-dealing used by companies like Google, Amazon, and Apple.

In the summer, we ran a hard-hitting campaign to urge Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer to finally move on these bills, including driving a billboard truck around his house and mobilizing a large coalition of small companies and civil society groups. Then we launched an open letter to the White House, and got them to say they plan to make this legislation a priority in the coming weeks. That’s a great sign, but when folks like Rep. Jim Jordan get control of the tech policy agenda in January, it’s highly unlikely any action on antitrust will be taken.
That’s why we need your support right here, right now on Giving Tuesday. Your support helps keep up the pressure and make moves on Big Tech antitrust in the next couple weeks. We need you.
