Make a Giving Tuesday gift now No images? Click here John, The strides we made for Washington’s environment and communities this year were astonishing. We have been able to do things like secure critical transportation funding, build the environmental movement across the state, and expand the margin of environmental champions in the State House and Senate. But all of this progress can be lost if we don’t continue to win during legislative session and during our upcoming 2023/2024 elections With your support we have made it clear to elected leaders that they need to protect our communities from harmful pollution, take action on climate, protect habitat critical to ecosystems, expand our democracy, and center environmental justice. 2023 is going to be a critical year for the environment. Starting with legislative session and then into critical local elections throughout the state, the stakes are going to be high next year and with your support WCV will continue to fight for our communities and environment. We have to move quickly to reduce climate pollution and protect and restore the frontline communities already feeling the effects of the climate crisis. we must put in place policies that reflect our values and invest in a healthier future for Washington. You have helped us achieve so much. Together, we can build on the wins we’ve earned. On this national day of giving we hope you will take this opportunity to contribute to WCV and help us protect the Washington we all care about. Thank you, Joy Joy Stanford |
