My story is only possible here. You see, I wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth. I had 11 brothers and sisters and grew up in public housing on the west side of Savannah, Georgia. From there, I went on to serve as the senior pastor at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. 's church and represent Georgians as the first Black senator in our state's history.

Now, I'm running for reelection to make sure every child can achieve their American dream just like I did. We can win this fight for a better, brighter future for all, but not without support from grassroots folks like you.
