Today is Giving Tuesday, John, and we are only $21,000 short of hitting our fundraising goal.
If you're not familiar with Giving Tuesday, the idea behind it is really quite simple: it is a day all about doing good.
Here at 350.org, we are setting out to do good by building community-owned renewable energy projects to break our global reliance on the fossil fuel industry.
So far, our climate movement has raised around $79,000 for our Giving Tuesday fundraising goal — and what is even more exciting is that every contribution is MATCHED dollar for dollar by two generous donors.
But the thing is that we still have $21,000 left to raise if we are going to hit our goal by midnight... and that's when the $100,000 match expires.
