On this Giving Tuesday, we want to thank you for supporting and participating in the work of the Arms Control Association. Together, we have accomplished much, but we have more to do.

This year, the Arms Control Association marked 50 years as a catalyst for progress in reducing and eliminating the threats posed by the world’s most dangerous weapons.

We were pleased to see many of you in June for our 50th Anniversary Annual Meeting at the National Press Club in Washington D.C. We are grateful for and honored by the generous support and enthusiasm for the organization’s efforts through the years and into the future.

As we move into 2023, we face crucial challenges and so much unfinished business in our work for peace and security. The risks of military confrontation between nuclear-armed states are rising. Russian President Vladimir Putin’s nuclear threats underscore the growing dangers of nuclear war. Chronic nuclear proliferation challenges in North Korea, Iran, and elsewhere persist. We need renewed progress on nuclear disarmament and nonproliferation diplomacy more than ever.

The Arms Control Association urgently needs your support as we seek to move the world back from the nuclear brink.
