Did you know CaucusRoom is the only social media community with a member-elected Representative Council? The Council is empowered to set community policies and rules, so they must answer to the voters– and that’s you, our CaucusRoom members. No Artificial Intelligence or impersonal algorithms here- CaucusRoom is a Republic! Read the CaucusRoom Constitution.
 

Election Week Begins Tomorrow

CaucusRoom’s annual Council Election begins this Wednesday evening! The Council includes two representatives from each time zone (AK, AZ, and HI are included in the Pacific Zone). A term is two years long, and one seat in each time zone is up for election each year.  CaucusRoom members can vote for candidates in all time zones. The top vote-getter in the election will become the lone At-Large member.

Time Commitment:

Council Members will need to be available for a 60-90 minute virtual meeting twice a month, typically on Wednesdays at 8 pm Eastern/5 pm Pacific. In addition, Council members often spend a few hours per month working with the CaucusRoom team on community rules and providing product feedback.

Today is the last chance to throw your hat into the ring as a candidate for office. We have several current members running for reelection and an unfilled seat in the Central Time Zone. Your first assignment would be to write [email protected] and tell her you are interested. Then you will offer a short candidate statement on our Company’s CaucusRoom group, The CaucusRoom Room. 

Here’s your opportunity to be part of the Council for the coming year and continue the work of making CaucusRoom a headquarters for Conservatives to learn, engage with each other, and evangelize our neighbors to join our cause for freedom.
