A remarkable $14.2 billion of that total was dedicated to the creation of the FCC’s Affordable Connectivity Program, which launched this year and provides households living near the poverty line with up to $30 per month to help pay their internet bills.
Now we're fighting to fill the empty seat on the FCC with a public-interest champion to make sure this money gets to the people who need it most and make sure big broadband providers aren’t ripping you off.
