No doubt you’ve been feeling it—2022 has been a tough year for New Yorkers. Inflation has risen at the fastest rate in decades and working people are struggling to make ends meet. Meanwhile corporate profits grow and our health and climate crises ravage our communities.
But ALIGN is fighting for our future, and in 2022 we have a lot to celebrate: |

• We stand up to Amazon. We won legislation to protect warehouse workers from harmful productivity quotas at companies like Amazon. • We put workers first. ALIGN fought against retaliation in unsafe workplaces with an amendment to the NY HERO Act. • We invest in the future. We launched a new campaign to raise New York’s minimum wage to at least $20 and change the lives of more than 2 million workers. |

Our latest campaign is ambitious: raising New York’s minimum wage to at least $20 by 2026, and indexing it with annual updates to keep up with rising prices.
