They’re less likely to have access to basic information that you and I may take for granted, like where to get an identification card or how to find free medical services. They sometimes can be in danger of retribution if they ask for information.

| Four years ago, Ana Veraliz was at death’s door. Then she received information about services provided by Guatemala City’s women’s centers. Now she and her children are thriving. Since launching the Inform Women, Transform Lives campaign, the centers have seen a 200% increase in women using their free medical services, getting the same kind of care that saved Ana’s life. |

Women are being empowered with information about existing government programs. Currently, across 24 cities, women are gaining access to resources like food banks, job training, mental health services, counseling for abuse survivors, and so much more.
