Monthly Meeting: 2020 Planning and Strategy Session
Thursday, January 9 at 7:30pm
Brooklyn Commons
388 Atlantic Avenue (Boerum Hill)
Happy New Year to all! Now that we’ve toasted the accomplishments of 2019—victories over pipelines, game-changing climate legislation passed, a successful library series, and so much more—it’s time to build on those wins while beginning the work of making the 2020s the decade in which we turned this crisis around. Of course, we have no other choice: it’s now or never for tackling climate emergency, and we need everyone's brains, bodies, and hearts engaged to make this happen.
Join us at this essential yearly planning meeting to hear about what’s in store for the year to come and strategize about ways to make our campaigns as effective as possible. If you only come to one meeting in 2020 (and we hope you come to them all), this should be the one. And if you’ve been getting this newsletter but have never been to a 350Brooklyn event in person, consider making this your first. After all, community creates solidarity, and solidarity creates hope, and nothing could be more important to our fight than that. See you all this Thursday!
