I have good news — and some not-so-good news.

The good news is that despite all the predictions of a red wave swamping Democrats in the midterm elections, we proved the pundits and the pollsters wrong. Kevin McCarthy and his Republican accomplices staggered across the finish line with the slimmest of Congressional majorities.

Across the country, frontline Democrats held strong against vicious MAGA Republican attacks. In red, purple, and blue districts, voters rejected GOP messages of fear and division.

Here’s the not-so-great news, however.

While Kevin McCarthy is desperately cutting deals with far-right radicals, and twice-impeached, serial-liar Donald Trump is running for president (again), our fundraising has seriously declined.

We can’t let that happen, team. We cannot risk losing ground at this pivotal moment, particularly as Trump and his extremist cronies reemerge from Mar-a-Lago with an agenda of hate.

Can you help us get back on track immediately? We must hit our goal of $15,000 by midnight on Wednesday.

We know from experience the national Republican machine and congressional Republicans will try and milk their razor-thin majority to the maximum. They’ll pander to special interests and ultra-wealthy donors.

And Donald Trump is trying to fund his new presidential run with millions of dollars by barraging his contributors with hundreds of demented messages.

That means we must have the resources to fight back, team. We can’t afford to let up for a single moment. Will you take a moment and donate right away to help get us back on track?
