Hi John, I’m Jasmine Smith, and I’m one of the newest members of Team Emerge. 

I grew up in a deep-red town in rural Central Virginia. There, I found a passion for electing grassroots Democratic women to fight for the policies and change that all our communities need to thrive. During the pandemic, I even worked on campaigns for two powerhouse Emerge alums – so I’ve learned a few things about breaking down barriers and beating the odds in unprecedented times! 

Now I’m all in to continue the Emerge mission to elect Democratic women at every level of our government. Hitting our Giving Tuesday goal is crucial to keep our programs going and make sure women have the tools, training, and network to succeed on the campaign trail and in office.
