We are winning the fight against Disney - it is now time they learn their lesson for good! I bring good news on the Disney front. CEO Bob Chapek, one of the main crusaders for Disney’s turn to wokeism and its incorporation of LGBT ideology in its products, has been fired and replaced by his predecessor Robert Iger, in embarrassing fashion. The radical woke obsession they so much betted on is taking a toll, and they know it! Disney has seen its stock price plummet since Bob Chapek took charge of the company in 2021. Within the first two months of his taking over, Disney’s stock plunged a staggering 40% losses further compounded by a more than $10 billion deficit incurred during the pandemic. However, the fight is far from over. Iger returns for two crucial years… It’s unclear if Iger will do anything to make the company less Woke, as he was who first advocated for fostering LGBTQ+ content. But now, after the financial collapse, we come across an opportunity to make Iger reconsider returning the company to family values or else pave the way for his successor to do it.

Over the last years, Disney has chosen to drift away completely from the family friendly company it once started, becoming a perverse indoctrination machine that is a slave to the LGBTQ+ agenda. The radical Left is seeking to groom children to adopt a radical LGBTQ+ lifestyle, and Disney is actively helping them do it. Disney’s corporate president Karey Burke stated in April she would like to see 50% of characters as LGBTQ+ or other politically chosen minorities. Soon after, for the very first time in history, Disney included a lesbian kiss in a movie for children: Lightyear confirmed to dumbfounded parents across the world that Disney, today, is a hostage of the LGBTQ+ activists committed to corrupting our children through indoctrination. During Chapek’s tenure the company became embroiled in a fight with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis after it chose to advocate against the state’s Parental Rights in Education bill, which prohibits teaching gender ideology and sexual orientation in kindergarten through third-grade classrooms. What we can be sure of, is that Disney is in clear disarray, and it is our moment to capitalise. They know we are right, and they know they have to give in, if they want to start mending their financial disaster. It’s time to once again, turn up the heat, and drive this message home, loud and clear - that a continuation of the woke leftist agenda in its products will be the catalyst to Disney’s downfall.

Thanks to your unending support and the incessant pressure of thousands of citizens through our campaigns have coerced on the company, Disney is slowly realising that their leftist woke agenda is failing them in every way possible. Disney has always relied on families for the vast majority of its revenue, and their financial situation as of late reflects precisely this. Over the last years, the company has alienated the interests of families, and completely ignored the voices of parents, and instead, has sided with the LGBT lobby. Bob Chapek stubbornly remained adamant that the company could better advocate for LGBTQ+ inclusivity through its increasingly woke content - my goodness how wrong was he - and the woeful performance of the company that caused his short tenure reflects just how deluded he was! Now, Bob Chapek is gone. We have a historic opportunity to demonstrate to the new CEO of Disney, Robert Iger, that championing woke political causes damages the relationship with audiences and drives to the downfall eventually. Poor decisions generate poor results. Our ongoing campaigns at CitizenGO have been one of the leading voices for families who were sick and tired of Disney forcing their political agenda of gender ideologues and radical LGBT activists on them. Well, today parents and children have reason to be optimistic. But the fight is far from over. There is still a lot of work to be done. The dismissal of Bob Chapek does not mean that the many other radical leftist crusaders who conspired to bring Disney to its brink, are not still operating fiercely in the company. Dangerous people like Vivian Ware (Diversity and Inclusion Manager), and Latoya Revenau (Executive Producer) still hold important positions in the company, and would do whatever it takes to continue the radical left wing indoctrination. The latter shockingly once said: “I was just, wherever I could, just basically adding queerness… No one would stop me and no one was trying to stop me.” Well we are going to stop her now! For this reason I am asking you to not take the foot off the pedal in this fight and support us in this appeal to the new CEO Robert Iger to refrain from the inclusion of LGBT and gender ideology content in its products. It will be also a warning message to his successor. So join me in hitting them where it hurts.
