Vulnerable children don’t have high paid lobbyists – but they do have you!  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌

During this busy election year, it’s up to us to make sure Congress prioritizes the needs of kids! Send a message to your members of Congress today.

Dear John -

Congress is back in session today. They are kicking off what no doubt will be a very intense year in politics. From addressing global crises that have intensified in the last few weeks to tough battles that will determine control of Congress to who wins the White House, there are a lot of competing priorities facing our elected leaders.

But we need to ensure that children are their top priority, John.

Please send your members of Congress a message today and urge them to put kids at the top of their 2020 priorities!

Our 2020 vision for kids is big and bold. With your activism, we will work to:

  • Expand access to early childhood education programs. When children are given high-quality early learning opportunities, the kids, their families and society receive a lifetime of benefits. Congress needs to increase funding for Head Start, preschool and child care programs.

  • Treat migrant children with dignity. The treatment of kids and families at the U.S. southern border continues to be a stain on our national conscience. Congress needs to ensure that kids seeking safety in the U.S. are treated humanely and that their right to asylum is protected. And it must continue to work to completely end family separations.

  • Ensure girls have the opportunity to lead. Girls around the world are often not given the same opportunities as boys to participate fully in society. Congress needs to pass the Girls Leadership, Empowerment, Agency and Development (LEAD) Act. This bill will promote girls’ civic engagement and inclusive democracy across the globe through U.S. foreign assistance.

Please send a message to your members of Congress today asking them to prioritize this 2020 vision for kids in the year ahead.

Children – especially the most vulnerable – don’t have high-priced lobbyists helping represent their interests before Congress. Thankfully, they have you and hundreds of thousands of other Save the Children Action Network supporters to be their voice.

Send a message today.

Thank you for being a voice for kids,

Mark Shriver, President
