You know what I did on election night a couple of weeks ago? The same thing I do every election night: I glued myself to TV coverage and social media and stress-ate an unreasonable amount of pizza.

But by the end of the night, I celebrated the incredible abortion ballot initiative wins that made all the stress worth it. We saw that when abortion was on the ballot, reproductive rights won.

I'm so grateful to the voters in California, Vermont, Michigan, Montana, and Kentucky who stood up and delivered for abortion rights. But it’s the work ahead -- for Planned Parenthood, the ongoing struggle to protect and expand access to abortion -- that we must turn our attention to now. It will take all of us working together to build a future where everyone has access to the care they deserve.
