Friends,
As I look towards my next term in Congress – which was only made possible due to the support of folks like you – I also know that we’re looking at a tough reality with a Republican-controlled House.
It’s not the outcome that any of us had hoped for. I won’t try to sugarcoat this new reality: the GOP takeover of the House means that so many of our hard-fought victories will be in jeopardy.
But – while this may be a blow to our progress, I’m not giving up. And neither should you.
We’ve been through tough times before, and we’ll do it again. And we’ll make sure that the most marginalized folks in our community – working class families, immigrants, communities of color, and more – have the resources, protections, and support they need.
We’ll stay strong together and united against bigotry and exploitation.
We will keep fighting for reproductive justice.
We will keep fighting for working families.
We will keep fighting for LGBTQ+ rights.
We will keep fighting for the union movement.
And we will keep fighting for a brighter future.
