The Washington Office on Latin America (WOLA) is a leading research and advocacy organization advancing human rights in the Americas. WOLA is beginning a search for a strategic-minded communications manager to act as our new Editorial Director. This is a new role that will lead the development and production of WOLA’s public-facing content. They will develop written and multimedia content related to human rights and social justice in Latin America as well as supervise our consultant’s contracts.
We are looking for a candidate that is able to speak and write in English and Spanish fluently and has at least eight years of experience in the communications, outreach, or journalism field.
Our starting salary is between $90,000--$95,000 depending on previous years of experience.
