This has been a momentous year for the gun safety movement and for our country. For the first time in nearly 30 years, Congress took action to address our nation’s gun violence epidemic. After horrific tragedies in Buffalo and Uvalde, Americans demanded stronger gun safety laws—and they got them. Giffords Law Center is doing everything we can to make sure our progress continues.

This Giving Tuesday, I hope you’ll consider supporting us. Our board of directors has generously offered to match every donation we receive tomorrow, dollar for dollar—so your contribution goes twice as far.

Meeting our fundraising goal will enable us to hit the ground running in 2023, as we prepare to challenge the NRA in court, lift up violence intervention strategies, and push for more state and federal action. Together, we’ve made tremendous progress, but this is only the beginning. We can’t let up now.
