Friend –
We're reaching out a day early about our Giving Tuesday match <[link removed]> – because it directly impacts the longer fight ahead. Please give me a quick moment so that I can explain how.
At the ACLU, our work is always about lasting, systemic change – about building an America where all of us have access to our rights no matter where we live. But we're not there yet:
➔ Not when we live in a country where a 10-year-old girl from Ohio was forced to travel across state lines to access abortion because of the state's draconian abortion law.
➔ Not when Black voters stood in the baking sun for hours to vote in a Senate race simply because they live in Georgia.
➔ Not when parents of trans young people have to uproot their families from Texas or Arkansas or Florida just to access lifesaving healthcare for their kids.
No, this isn't a nation of 'liberty and justice for all' yet – but we know how to get there. As we speak, the ACLU is fighting back in the halls of power, filing lawsuits, and lobbying for policy change. We are prepared for whatever the future holds in the lead-up to 2024 and beyond – including Donald Trump. And in every state and in every way, we're showing up for all of our rights and for as long as it takes.

Knowing tomorrow is one of our most crucial days of the year to raise funds, a generous supporter has offered a $1 million dollar matching gift opportunity for Giving Tuesday. <[link removed]> As a dedicated supporter yourself, we're inviting you to join us in this chance a day early – and in a way that will power the long-term work for civil liberties far into the future:
Set up your monthly support today and your first recurring donation will be matched early for Giving Tuesday. Plus, your monthly gift as a Guardian of Liberty will be crucial in sustaining the urgent fight we have ahead of us. <[link removed]>
Please join us today, and together, we'll create a future where your address doesn't determine your right to vote, to learn, to control your own body – or to access any of our nation's most fundamental freedoms.
For all of us,
