It’s all hands on deck!
The Georgia Senate runoff is on Tuesday, December 6th, with early voting starting this Monday, November 28th.1
Georgia has a long history of voter suppression that continues to this day. In fact, the very existence of the Senate runoff election in Georgia comes from the history of the state intentionally implementing laws and policies to dilute the voting power of communities of color.
That’s why we’re joining our friends at Vote Forward to write to voters in Georgia, encouraging them to vote in the fast-approaching runoff election. The deadline to mail letters is Tuesday the 29th. Click here to write to voters today!
It’s essential that we reach under-represented voters to make sure they have what they need so that no one gets turned away from the polls.
