We are just days away from Giving Tuesday, an exciting 24-hour fundraiser where people around the world come together to support the causes that they care about. Here at the National Immigration Law Center, we have set an ambitious goal of raising $50,000, funds that are critical to our mission of defending and advancing the rights of low-income immigrants and their loved ones.

To give you an idea of the type of work that you’ll be supporting, here’s a snapshot of what we have been up to this month:

With partners, we flew 23 DACA recipients from across the country to Washington, D.C. and arranged 20 meetings with senators and members of their staff, so that they could hear firsthand from young immigrants who are counting on Congress to deliver a pathway to citizenship for them this year. To make an even bigger impact, we also mobilized thousands of people to send emails and social media messages, so that those same elected officials would know how popular and important a pathway to citizenship is for immigrant youth.

And that was just our work over a matter of days!
