John,

Last Sunday, I joined the Sunday Show with Jonathan Capeheart to discuss
our goals as progressives in the next Congress.

As the minority party in the House — even if just by a few seats — our
Progressive Caucus will have to work harder and smarter to fight for our
agenda.

I’ll share with you how we’re going to do that below, but first, I need
your help: [ [link removed] ]John,
can you donate $3 today to
help build our progressive movement so we can fight back against whatever
the Republicans throw at us?

There are three things we’re going to need to do given Republican control
of the House,
John:

 1. As an entire Democratic Party, we’re going to have to be a strong
opposition party. Progressives are often the ones on the frontlines
defending the communities that get attacked — whether it’s the
LGBTQ+ community, folks of color, or young people across the country
— and we must be prepared to fight back against GOP attacks.
 2. As progressives, we’re going to have to work with the White House.
We’ve built a very successful relationship with the President and
with the White House on executive actions. Together, we must not
only hold the line but make sure we continue to wield the power we
do have and executive authority to move more lifesaving policies.
 3. Most importantly, we are going to have to keep hope alive and show
the pathway for people to turn out in 2024 so we can pass the rest
of our Democratic agenda.

We accomplished so much of that agenda thanks to progressives in the last
term, now we’ve got to get the rest of it done. I feel very confident that
if we can inspire people and give people hope across the country, that we
can make this happen.

But building this movement isn’t going to happen overnight — it’s going to
take all of us standing up for what we believe in, fighting back against
the GOP’s agenda of hate and fear, and holding Democratic leadership in
the Senate and White House accountable.

[ [link removed] ]To help us build this movement,
John, will you donate
$3 today?

In solidarity,

Pramila
