Believe it or not, we’re already near the end of November, and that means we’re coming up on our next fundraising deadline. Before I ask you to chip in, I hope you’ll give me a moment to explain why your support is needed in this moment.

This November 30 is our first deadline since winning the election and flipping NM-02 blue. Fundraising has slowed down since the election came and went, but we can’t afford to get complacent now.

I’m looking forward to getting to Congress to work on the issues impacting New Mexicans, like creating more good-paying jobs and lowering costs, expanding access to affordable healthcare, defending reproductive choice, and protecting our public lands.

But Republicans narrowly took back the House, which means it’s going to be an uphill battle to pass legislation to address these key issues and make progress.

Democrats are going to have to work hard to reach across the aisle to break through the gridlock, while blocking any attacks on women’s choice, our elections, and more.

I’m ready to fight for you in Washington, but we need to rebuild our campaign’s resources to ensure we can keep this seat blue and ultimately take back the House in 2024 — especially since Yvette Herrell already filed to run against me.

That work starts now. Can you pitch in $10 or whatever you can afford to our people-powered campaign before Wednesday’s midnight deadline? It’s our first chance to show the continued strength of our movement following our big win!
